About me

My journey

Today I live in Weinolsheim, the place where I grew up and where my path led me back many years later. As a child, I already felt deeply connected to animals and nature and was fascinated by indigenous peoples, their cultures, and their knowledge of living in harmony with nature.

After finishing school, my path first led me to the United States for several years. I studied languages and literature as well as interpreting and translation, and later worked in international marketing for many years. Since I could do my work from different places, traveling became a natural part of my life. I loved that freedom, being on the move, and encountering other countries, cultures, and ways of life.

At the same time, I continued to follow a deeper inner calling. Alongside my professional career, my spiritual and shamanic path deepened from 2009 onwards. I attended seminars shamanic practice seminars with Olaf Bernhardt through the Foundation for Shamanic Studies. In 2014, I completed my Huna training with Jeanne Ruland, which had a profound influence on my path and took me deeper into shamanic practice, energy and healing work, as well as different spiritual traditions.

One of the most life-changing experiences on this path was the death of my mother in December 2015. I was able to accompany her shamanically during that time. Her passing was painful for me and uplifting at the same time, almost like a birth into another realm.

A year later, during a stay in Idaho, I was invited to a shamanic fire ceremony on her birthday, of all days. Experiences like these deepened my path and my understanding of life, death, and the transitions in between.

For a long time, my life moved between two worlds: structure and intuition. Business and spirituality. Mind and soul.

As early as 2019, alongside my job at the time, I began offering power animal journeys, mostly for children among my friends and acquaintances. Deep down, I already knew back then that this was my true calling.

Over time, I came to see that these worlds do not have to be opposites. The clarity and groundedness of my professional path still carry my intuitive work today. And yet the call toward a different, more truthful life grew ever clearer.

At some point, I felt something calling me back: home, and at the same time deeper into myself.

When the world grew quieter during the Covid years, I initially stayed in Speyer, a place already woven into my family history: my great-grandmother had lived and served there as a deaconess. During that time, I decided to adopt my dog Paloma from Spain. Only a few months later, I became pregnant.

The deepest initiation of my life began with the pregnancy and birth of my son Leif.

His birth was far more than the beginning of motherhood. It became a profound initiation into my womanhood and my own soul path. With him by my side, it became impossible to continue a life that no longer answered my inner calling. Continuing to function within the structures of a global corporation as a single mother of a small child no longer felt right to me.

I was allowed to let go of securities, release control, and learn to trust life in a new way. With Leif's arrival, my soul path became more uncompromising and clearer at the same time: no longer just knowing about it, but truly walking it.

At the same time, motherhood gave my connection to children a new depth. Experiencing my own child in his innermost being also changed the way I see other children, and it strengthened my resolve to create spaces where they are seen and supported in who they truly are.

Leif was born at home, in a protected circle of women, in the house my grandfather built and in which he also died. Accompanied by an experienced home birth midwife and a close friend who is also a midwife, his birth became a deep experience of feminine power, connection with my ancestors, and the wonder of new life.

Today, Leif, our Podenco dog Paloma, and I live in Weinolsheim. For me, there is a special strength in returning to one's own roots and consciously embracing them. Not in order to stand still or to be bound to one place forever, but because rootedness and freedom belong together for me.

Our roots do not hold us back. They give us the strength to follow our own path, even when that path only emerges as we walk it and may one day lead us to an entirely different place.

Elaya Spirit Healing grew out of this lived foundation.

Today I guide children, teenagers, and adults in remembering their innermost essence and bringing to light what often lies hidden. In soul journeys, work with power animals, pregnancy guidance, women's circles, and one-on-one shamanic guidance, I open spaces for deep inner experiences.

I receive images and messages of the soul and translate them into words, symbols, and soul images that touch you and, above all, can be remembered, integrated, and lived in everyday life.

I believe that we do not have to become someone else, but that we may remember who we were, who we are, and who we will always be.

Sometimes I am an Eagle, Sometimes I am a Mouse

In 2025, my friend, the author Charlotte Stevenson, and I created a children's book together, which we published as co-authors.
