Women's Circles & The Feminine

Returning to Your Primordial Feminine

To me, the feminine is not about conforming to a certain idea of what a woman should be.

It is not about becoming softer, wilder, more intuitive or more “feminine.” Nor is it about stepping into yet another role. For me, returning to the primordial feminine begins when we start to truly meet ourselves again – beneath all the expectations, conditioning and ideas of who we are supposed to be.

The primordial feminine, to me, is about reconnecting with what is original and uniquely our own.

With our bodies and their rhythms. With our intuition and our inner voice. With the different strengths and facets that live within us – and that are allowed to change and evolve throughout our lives.

Being a woman is not something static. We are cyclical beings, shaped by rhythms, transformation and the great thresholds of our lives – from menarche to possible motherhood and eventually menopause. At each of these thresholds, we leave something behind and are born anew as women in a different way.

At the same time, many of us live within structures where achievement, constant availability and simply keeping everything going have become the norm. Women, in particular, often find themselves carrying many roles at once – in their careers, their relationships, their families and as mothers. In the midst of all this, there is not always much space left for our own rhythms, our bodies, our intuition and our own needs.

To me, living in connection with the feminine also means reclaiming our personal power. Becoming aware of our own needs, recognizing our boundaries and standing up for ourselves. No longer asking only what is expected of us, but also how we ourselves actually want to live.

Because the feminine should not become yet another ideal we have to live up to. It is something we are invited to discover and embody in our own way.

Not learning to function even better. But becoming more fully alive again.

There are times for blossoming and being visible, just as there are times for retreat. Times for clarity and action, for letting go, transformation and new beginnings.

Perhaps one of the most essential questions on this path therefore begins quite simply with:

Who am I – really?

Not: Who should I be? Not: What should the feminine look like? But: What is true for me?

For me, returning to the primordial feminine is therefore also a path of self-discovery – and ultimately, embodiment. Because it is not only about knowing something about ourselves or remembering something we once knew.

It is about living what we recognize within ourselves.

Women Need Women

As individual as each woman’s path may be, we do not have to walk it alone.

There is a particular kind of power, for me, in women coming together. Not because we all share the same experiences or embody the feminine in the same way, but because we can mirror and remind one another – and sometimes recognize something in another woman that is also asking to be seen within ourselves.

Women’s spaces can be places of remembering, recognition and embodiment.

There is room for our differences within the circle. One woman may be entering a time of new beginnings while another needs to turn inward. One may be standing at a threshold, while another is beginning to discover her voice or her power in a new way. This is part of what makes these spaces so meaningful to me: we do not have to be at the same point on our journeys to feel connected to one another.

Something emerges in these spaces that cannot be entirely planned. Every woman brings her own story, her own energy and whatever is moving within her at that time. Through sharing, through our experiences together and through what reveals itself within the circle, a space unfolds that is shaped and held by all the women within it.

A women’s circle, to me, is therefore not a space for simply consuming. It is a space for being, creating and contributing together.

Spaces for Women

My women’s spaces are created around different themes and different expressions of feminine power. Each has its own energy and evolves through the women who become part of it.

I do not follow a fixed formula. Alongside shared impulses, rituals and shamanic journeys, I follow what reveals itself within each space. I journey on behalf of the group, receive images and messages, and at the same time pay attention to the individual themes and resonances that emerge within the shared space.

In this way, a shared theme can become a deeply personal process. Because even when we share a space as women, each woman walks her own path within it.

My women’s spaces so far have explored very different facets of the feminine – from returning to the primordial feminine and remembering our inner priestess to sacred rage and reclaiming our own power.

Every space is different. What connects them is the invitation to meet ourselves more deeply – and not only to remember what we discover, but increasingly to embody it.
